Maranacook

On Friday, September 3 Lincoln Academy Cross Country (LAXC) competed in its first regular season meet at Maranacook. Both the girls and boys teams placed first in the team competition and several team members completed their first-ever high school cross country 5K. The split sheets for the race are available below. Many team members ran negative splits reflecting a conservative start on the opening hilly sections and a strong finish. Six team members achieved personal best times on a course that does not typically lend itself to fast times. They include: Will Clark (-1:33), Conor Glasier (-1:06), Audrey Hufnagel (-0:11), Aiden Jacobs (-0:11), Marina McManus (-0:10), and Liam Card (-0:08).

While Lincoln did not compete at Maranacook in 2020, five team members who ran there in 2019 dropped significant time from before including Aiden Jacobs who is this week's biggest loser dropping 3 minutes and 3 seconds from his previous time.
