Class B South Regional Championships

On Saturday, October 23, Lincoln Academy boys and girls varsity squads competed at the Class B South Regional Championships at Twin Brook in Cumberland. At stake, were individual and team qualification to the Maine State Championship meet. At this year's meet, the top 30 individuals and top seven teams advance to compete in Belfast on October 30.

The LA girls placed third in a tightly contested team competition to secure their first team qualification since 2003. In addition, LA's top 5 runners all placed among the top 30, the only team to do so.

The LA boys overcame the absence of two of their top varsity runners to finish seventh and secure the final qualifying spot. Official race results can be found online here. Split sheets for the race are available below. Photos coming soon.
